Brendan Lawlor

Brendan Lawlor won his second tournament on the European Disabled Golf Association’s tour at the weekend when he won the Pas-de-Calais Handigolf Open at Aa Saint-Omer Golf Club in France.

The 20-year-old won by four shots from the current English, Welsh and British Open champion, Ashley Harris. Lawlor followed up an opening round of 74 with a 78 in the second round to record his second win on tour in three months having already won the Troia Trophy in Portugal this year.

“Delighted to get my second win on the EDGA tour. It was a real battle out there hard conditions but happy I pulled through and got the win. Always nice to finish with a birdie,” commented Brendan afterwards.

Brendan is now targeting the United States Disabled Open Golf Championship in Orlando later this month.
