It’s been a good few weeks for the Smith family. Dad Graeme won the 2026 Laytown & Bettystown Junior Scratch Cup over the August Bank Holiday weekend with a gross score of 73. Son Lewis followed that by winning the Junior Opens at Laytown & Bettystown and County Louth and has now reduced his handicap to 6.5.
