COMPETITIONS ROUND-UP

MEN'S SECTION
Winter Golf is firmly with us with competitions now taking place over 14 holes.
The competition on the first weekend of November saw Kevin Barry (9) shoot 35pts to win Division 1 by one point from Peter Durnin (3).
Conor McClenaghan (14) took Division 2 with 34pts to Eamon Kelly’s (15) 33pts while Michael Hamilton (16) also shot 34pts on his way to winning Division 3 by one point from Noel McGuinness (16).
Noel Reid’s Captain’s Dinner takes place this Friday at 7pm with the restaurant still taking bookings.
Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5 - 14 Hole Singles Stableford - Division 1: Kevin Barry (9) 35pts, Peter Durnin (3) 34pts. Division 2: Conor McClenaghan (14) 34pts, Eamon Kelly (15) 33pts. Division 3: Michael Hamilton (16) 34pts, Noel McGuinness (16) 33pts.
 
LADIES SECTION
The Halloween Hamper Competition, sponsored by SuperValu, was played on Tuesday November 7.  
Mary Lou Grennan was the winner of Division 1 with 29 points, Catherine Duff was the Division 2 winner with 27 points, and Joan McKenna won Division 3 with a super score of 30 points.
The presentation of prizes took place in the evening in the Clubhouse. Many thanks to SuperValu for their very generous sponsorship.
