MEN'S SECTION Carl Stewart won the PGA Tankard over the Easter weekend when he produced a superb round of golf in windy conditions to edge out Gerry McDermott by one point. Playing off nine, Stewart went out in 22pts thanks to a three-point birdie at the ninth, three-point pars at the third, fourth and eighth and two-point pars at the second, fifth and sixth. He came home in 21pts as he secured another three-point birdie at the 17th and also had three-point pars at the 11th, 12th and 16th and two-point pars at the 10th, 13th and 14th.
