A good outward nine set Pat Dunne (37) on his way to winning the Seniors Open Stableford competition sponsored by Cathedral Financial Consultants Limited.
His front nine included a string of two pointers, boosted by a par five at the 6th hole for four points and three pointers at the par three’s 5th and 9th holes, to turn on 22 points. He struggled early on the back nine but regained his scoring prowess with back to back four pointers at the 13th and 14th holes, followed by three pointers from the 15th to the 17th holes, to come home in 20 points. Monday, July 1 - Cathedral Finance Seniors Open Stableford: Overall Winner: Pat Dunne (37) 42pts. Division 1: Ultan Herr (15) 37pts. Division 2: John Englishby (20) 40pts. Division 3: Timothy Jewell (25) 41pts.
