good win for Women's Junior cup

​On the inter-club scene there was a great win in the rain for the Women's Junior Cup team but three other defeats over the past week for other Dundalk teams.
On Saturday, the Women's Junior Cup team beat Ardee 3-2 with Katie Rowland, Ellen McEneaney and Pauline Campbell contributing the winning points.  
On Bank Holiday Monday the Leinster Men’s Fourball team lost 3-2 to Greenore with the final match being decided on the 19th hole.  
Greenore also won the third round tie in the Pierce Purcell Shield on Sunday on a 3.5 to 0.5 scoreline.
​The Mixed Foursomes team were beaten 2.5 to 1.5 by All-Ireland champions Malahide on Sunday.  
There is another busy week coming up with the Barton Cup team meeting Ardee on Thursday at 5pm while on Friday the Barton Shied team will meet Seapoint at 2.50pm. The Jimmy Bruen team finish the week on Sunday when they play Royal Dublin 4.20pm.
