Lady President Elizabeth McGuinness’s Prize to the Ladies was played on Tuesday, August 15. There was a packed timesheet, with all the ladies turning out in support of the great work our Lady President does. The scoring was low, with Tina Kirk, returning a superb 67 nett to claim the top prize. This was two shots clear of her nearest rival, Anne Murray. Gillian Mc Donnell was the winner of Division 1, Joan Corrigan was the winner of Division 2 and Nicola Fee won Division 3. Teenager Katie Rowland won the gross prize and Clara Egan was the juvenile winner. There was a very large turnout and great atmosphere in the Clubhouse at the presentation of prizes in honour of the Lady President. Lady Captain Briege spoke on behalf of all members of Dundalk Golf Club when she thanked Lady President Elizabeth for her longstanding dedication to the club and its members. She also spoke of her unwavering support to teams, both home and away.
