Ladies Team Updates - 3 Semi FINALS IN JULY!!

Last weekend saw a number of our Ladies interclub teams in action.

In the Junior Cup, there was an impressive win over Baltray with Katie Rowland and Ellen McEneaney winning their matches at home 5&3 and 6&4 respectively. Pauline Campbell's match went right down to the wire before she emerged victorious on 18. There was a trojan effort from Bernie McCabe and Elaine Ward who both managed to half their away matches. The Senior Cup panel will now advance to the North Leinster semi final to be played before 20 July.

The Challenge Trophy team had a convincing win over Greenore to set up a clash with Ardee on Thursday 10 July. Meanwhile the Intermediate Foursomes panel had a well deserved win against Rathcore. They now advance to face Westmanstown in their North Leinster semi final on Friday 12 July at 3pm.

While the Senior Foursomes were defeated by a strong Headfort side, our Senior Cup team had a fantastic win over Royal Tara to set up a semi final against The Island to be played before 20 July. Katie Rowland put in a tremendous performance and was 8 up thru 9 holes before winning on 11. There were away wins for Criona O'Reilly and Ellen McEneaney. 

What this all means is that the Ladies will have three teams in semi finals in July! We'd love to see as much support out for the teams as possible so please keep an eye on our social media channels, BRS and the website for updates on fixtures!
