steady lynch takes wednesday open

David Lynch (14) shot 42pts on his way to winning Wednesday’s McKenna Man Open Singles Stableford. He shot 21pts on each nine and his round included 13 pars.
Gerard Carroll (6) won Division 1 with 40pts while Dave Dorr (20) shot 41pts to take Division 2. Tonny Hanna (24) with 37pts won Divisoon 3 and Joseph Laverty with 38pts had the best gross score from a round that featured six birdies. They came at the first, fifth, sixth, 10th, 12th and 13th.
