Telsa stretch lead in winter league

At the midway stage of the Precision Cables Winter League Team Tesla, captained by Brendan Keane, remain in top position with 361pts after three weeks.
They scored an excellent 126pts on Week 3 with Kenneth Cairns top scoing with a super contribution of 39pts. Brian and Aidan Gaughran along with Peter Cunningham all broke the 30pts mark with their counting scores.
Team Telsa have opened up a 22pts lead at the top from Michael Coburn’s Team Peugeot who sit in second place on 349pts.
They saw four of their team contributing 30pts each to their 120pts in Week 3 including team captain Coburn. That has given them a total of 349pts and a four point lead over third placed Team Fiat.
The second half of the league will kick off in early January.
Cairns (11) with his 39pts was comfortably the highest individual scorer over the weekend and won Division 2 by six points from John Prendergast (12).
Dennis Cunningham (8) with 35pts was the Division 1 winner with Edward Lawrence (14) taking Division 3 after shooting 36pts. David Corrigan (29) with 34 pts was the Division 4 winner.
