Hole 8 – Old Clubhouse

Par: 4   Stroke Index: 15
Blue: 334m      White: 307m   Green: 297m   Red: 275m

To the right of the tee was the site of the Clubhouse and car-park from 1923 until 1967. It now houses on course toilets and the greenkeepers’ compound.

Leslie’s Tip: An uphill par four with a green hidden from view. The tee shot requires accuracy, not length, ideally finishing some 20 yards short of the fairway bunker. A blind second shot to a two tiered green requires commitment and enough club as Out of Bounds lurks to the right, there is trouble at the back and there are bunkers on the right and front left.
