Car Parking:
There is a large car park within a short walk of the clubhouse, which can be accessed through any of three separate turns on the left of the entrance roadway. Sign-in: Visitors can sign in at the Professional’s Shop which is located on the right hand side of the office suite adjacent to the car park. Competition sign in is also in the Pro Shop. Locker Room: The men’s and ladies locker rooms are located to the rear of the Clubhouse. Both have a visitors changing area. Showers, towels and toilet facilities are also provided in each locker room. Buggies: The club has buggies available for hire and these may be booked via the online booking system or by calling the office or pro shop on 042-9321731. Buggies cost €30 for 18 holes and may be collected from the Pro Shop. Trolleys: Trolleys are available for rental and can be collected from outside the Pro Shop where there is a trolley dispenser. Trolleys cost €4 to rent and the vending machine takes €2 and €1 coins. Equipment/Pro Shop: The Professional’s Shop sells a wide range of equipment, clothing and accessories, including crested apparel. The shop also stocks refreshments and rental clubs. Bar: The bar is located on the first floor of the Clubhouse and is divided into two sections; the TV room and the lounge. Restaurant: The restaurant is located on the first floor of the Clubhouse. A choice of Lunch and Evening menus' are available each day. |
Driving Range:
The ball dispenser for the Driving Range is located beside the Putting Green. A bucket of range balls cost €2. The blue markers and two parallel lines of rope identify the grass bays in operation each day. There is also a an all weather synthetic teeing area. There are also six covered driving bays at the end of the driving range. The area between the white stakes and the entrance roadway is for those golfers wishing to use and collect their own practice balls. Pitching, Chipping and Bunker Areas: The Pitching and Chipping Area is also adjacent to the car-park behind the Pro Shop, and contains an undulating green with multiple pin positions and a large practice bunker. Putting Green: The 9 hole putting green is located between the Pro Shop and the clubhouse. First Tee: The first tee is located to the right of the Clubhouse. Competition Sign-In: Depending on the type of competition, sign-in may be in the Pro Shop or the Starters Office which is located beside the First Tee. There are computer terminals in both the men’s and ladies locker rooms as well as the Pro Shop. Score Returns: If the score has to be entered into the computer, then there are computer terminals in both the men’s and ladies locker rooms and the signed cards should be placed in the box beside the computer. If computer input is not required the scorecards should be placed in the wooden box that will be located in a prominent position between the 18th green and the Clubhouse. |
