Team Raven, captained by incoming Vice Captain Gerry McDermott, head the field after round one of the Winter League sponsored by Precision Cables. They gathered 119pts to take a slender lead into Week 2 with Conor Mc Clenaghan their top contributor with a steady 31pts, Team Harrier captained by Michael Begley and Team Owl captained by Martin McDonnell follow closely in joint second place with 116pts each. Team Owl were assisted by a magnificent contribution from Eamon McEneaney who, with 35pts, was top individual scorer over the weekend. Team Owl had four steady scores with Sean Hession their top player with 30pts. Only nine points divide the top seven places so still a lot to play for over the coming weeks.
