Weekly Update - Busy Times for Team Dundalk

In a busy weekend for Team Dundalk, the Junior Cup team had a great win against Ardee on Saturday 18 May. The Junior Cup Home Team comprised of Ciaran Traynor and Clem Walshe, while the away team was made up of David Carroll, Damien Garland and Brian Og Renaghan. Well done to all involved and best of luck in the next round!

In the second leg of the JB Carr County Final against Greenore, there was high drama when Micky Coburn held out his approach shot on the 18th from 72 yards to win. Unfortunately, it was ultimately not to be for Dundalk who were beaten on the first play off hole. 

In the ladies section, despite valiant efforts from the Women's Challenge Trophy panel on Friday against Greenore and the Diamond Trophy panel on Saturday against Headfort, both teams ultimately succumbed to narrow defeats. Hard luck to all panelists and team managers. 

On Sunday 19 May, the Irish Mixed Fourball progressed to the next round with a nail-biting finish. Playing against Howth the away team lost one match and won one. At home, both matches were nip and tuck and halved on the 18th before Lady Captain Mags Coburn and John McKeever emerged victorious on the 21st.
